Ate at Bill's in Bury St Edmunds

Before I went to Africa, my friend Alison came for a mini-adventure day in Bury. We decided to head into town for a late lunch, and stopped at Bill's. It was pretty good - they forgot part of our order but were apologetic when we reminded them. 

We had hedgerow fizz to start (because why not!) and then she had a haloumi burger and I had ribs. The fries were exemplary and the ribs were pretty tasty. We didn't stick around for dessert as it was getting pretty late, and because I had cookies at home. 

The light was gorgeous on our walk back  through the Abbey Gardens, and these trees were gorgeous against the wintry sky.
