Ate New York
Rolled in to NYC last Saturday, and met my brother and his girlfriend for brunch. We went up to their roof deck to take a family picture!
My mom and I walked back to Grand Central, through Rockefeller Center, where we saw the Jeff Koons sculpture "Split-Rocker". Odd, but cool.
We took a selfie:
We also had gelato (actually, we had sorbet) at Ciao Bella in NoLIta:
And then I met up with my friend Emily for some excellent Jew-food. Russ & Daughters Cafe, would you care to open a branch in Bury St Edmunds? I'm sure it would do very well!
I had the Super Heebster, mostly because I wanted to say it out loud.
And some pickles.
And the best damn cookies ever. Prune hamantaschen, chocolate macaroons, and rugelach.
