Knit A Pair Of Socks

I picked up some gorgeous hand-dyed yarn at the Ickworth Wool Fair, from Native Yarns, and knit my first ever pair of socks for a friend.

One is very slightly longer than the other in the toe decreases, and I can't figure out why. Oh well, not the end of the world. I also made the lace section shorter because I was worried about running out of yarn (I didn't). I knit the small size with slightly larger needles, and they came out just right.
